Received the Baobab seeds on September 30th, there were two extra seeds in the package. It is now October 2nd and already some of them have started to sprout. I soaked the seeds in RO water for about 6 hours and then peeled the outer coat off. Next I will pot them and see how many survive.

100% germination with a few extra seeds included.

Was able to germinate seeds. It really depends on how well you prepare the seed. Filing down the seed on one side and then letting it soak made all the difference.

You get a lot of seeds in each pack. High germination rates for all of them which I wasn’t expecting I kept two of each that ended up germinating which sucks as i got around 60-80% germination for each one. Didn’t have the space for all of them.

Waited to review these until I had seen their viability. Also purchased a pack of the fony baobab seed and reviewed immediately because they looked so good. These digitata looked equally great out of the package. After going through the whole soak and grind through the seed coat process it’s looking like these are the highest quality baobab seed I’ve ever worked with. Highly recommend this company and will 100% be purchasing more from them!

For some reason, my address didn’t come through. Californiaboababs contacted me and worked it out. Plant arrived early and in great condition. Now the trick will be for me to keep it alive. Directions are clear and straight forward. Hopefully I can follow them. Wonderful customer service.

3/10 sprouted within a couple weeks which is good odds considering other stores are selling duds. Great buy. Definitely recommend. *****

The seeds were very well packaged, they arrived quickly and the labeling was nice. I’ve soaked them and have them in soil awaiting sprouts for almost 2 weeks. So far they haven’t surfaced but I will post an update as soon as I have viable seedlings. Thank you! Update: 1 beautiful tree is growing! I’m overjoyed! I would purchase from this seller again.

5 stars 🌟 I have purchased two baobab trees from this particular etsy store. One African baobab tree and one Madagascar baobab tree both were of the highest quality. Quick shipping much care taken in packaging both trees. The "Janu baobab sweets" (candies) are highly recommended also I will be a returning customer. = )

I am so excited to adopt this Australian Baobab tree baby who was born this May. We've named him Hugo and will give all our love and best care to him, partially bacause I can feel that Stephen, his previous owner, had been adored him too. I asked Stephen so many questions about the baby tree and received prompt and detailed answers. I'd say eveyone should own a Baobab tree, just for a more pleasant life!
